Dancing in the rain

Oh rain, how sweetly you fall
Upon my skin, my hair, my shawl
With every drop, my heart takes flight
In this dance with you, my delight

I spin and sway with wild abandon
To the rhythm of your gentle pattering
My soul alive, my spirit free
In this moment, all I can be

Let the world fade away
As I dance with you, dear rain
Oh how I love your sweet embrace
In this moment, there's no better place.

Letting go of a past love

When love is lost, and hearts are rent in twain,
What solace can the forlorn lover find?
What words of comfort can assuage the pain,
And ease the burden of the wounded mind?

The memories of love are bittersweet,
Like roses blooming in the winter's cold;
Reminding us of kisses, oh so sweet,
And promises that now remain untold.

Yet, in the passing of each passing day,
The pain of loss will slowly fade away;
The heart, though bruised, will heal and start anew,
And find a love that will be ever true.
So let us bid farewell to love once past, and love once lost,
And turn our gaze to brighter skies above;
For though this love may not have come to last,
A new and better one may yet be found,
With love.

A mother's love

Sing, Muse, the love that never fades nor dies,
A love that's steadfast as the starry skies;
In her heart, does burn,
A flame that's bright, and ever will return.

From the moment of her child's first breath,
A mother's love is loyal, true, and blessed;
She nurtures, guides, and teaches right from wrong,
A beacon of light to lead her child along.

When troubles come, and sorrow fills,
A mother's love will never veel;
She holds her child with arms so strong,
And soothes away the tears with sweetest song.

And though the years may pass and children grow,
A mother's love will never cease to flow;
Like a river that forever runs,
A constant force, a bond that's never done.

So let us praise the mothers of this earth,
Whose love and care are treasures of great worth;
For though the world may change and times may turn,
A mother's love will evermore endure and burn.

Courage

O Muse, speak now of courage, that great flame
That burns within the breast of every man,
A strength of heart that overcomes all shame,
And drives us to pursue a noble plan.

For courage is the spark that lights the fire
Of bravery, and fortitude, and might;
It is the force that bids us not to tire,
And urges us to keep the path in sight.

With courage, we can face the darkest hour,
And stand against the tides of fear and doubt;

We draw upon its steadfast, inner power,
And find the strength to fight and not give out.

It is the courage of the heart that saves,
And conquers all the obstacles we face;
A fearless spirit, strong and true and brave,
That takes us to the very highest place.

So let us honor courage, that great flame,
That burns within us all, and never dies;
For in its light, we find the strength to claim
before our eyes,
The victory that awaits.

The pain of growing up

O Muses, hear my words and lend your aid,
As I recount the pain of growing up;
For in this life, we all must face the shade,
And drink from sorrow's overflowing cup.

For childhood's dreams and innocence are gone,
And youth's bright light gives way to darker days;
We find ourselves adrift and all alone,
In unfamiliar, treacherous ways.

The heart that once was pure and free from stain,
Is burdened now with sorrows, doubts, and shame;
We struggle to find meaning and sustain
The hope that once we held so dear.
Yet, in this pain and darkness, we can find
A strength and wisdom that is born of woe;
For through the trials that we leave behind,
We learn the things that only pain can glow.

And as we journey through this mortal life,
We find that pain and joy are intertwined;
For though we suffer, we can rise above
And find the peace that comes from growing up.

So let us take this pain and make it ours,
And learn the lessons that it has to teach;
For in this struggle lies the greatest power,
And in this growth, we find the strength to reach.
